Lake Lemon

Lake Lemon is a reservoir located in the southern part of Indiana, near the city of Bloomington. It is a popular recreational destination for boating, fishing, and swimming, as well as a source of drinking water for the surrounding area. The lake was created in 1953 by damming Bean Blossom Creek, and is named after the nearby community of Lemon. It covers a surface area of 1,650 acres, with a maximum depth of 45 feet. The lake has five public boat ramps, two marinas, and several parks and beaches for visitors to enjoy.
